My bike has been a Godsend to me.

This is my story and I am sticking to it! 2019 life turned tough for me, I had to have both my hips replaced bone on bone. Recovery was taking forever and I had that thought of how I will ever hunt and hike the mountains I love. Saw a video of a famous hunting personality hunting from e bikes about this time, I didn’t even know it was a thing!

Researched and decided Bakcou was the one for me, although at the time it was out of reach financially. Enter another Utah company that does canvas bivouac shelters. They had a Bakcou bike raffle for points per purchase. I couldn’t afford the product I wanted from them at the time but at the 11th hour purchased it anyway, hoping for a shot at the bike. I won that bike! I never win!

That bike played a vital part in my rehabilitation at the time and four years later also as I struggle with other medical issues. I have bow hunted turkey and elk from it, and ride weekly for exercise and mental health. Financially things worked out and I have upgraded with a headlight, extra battery, battery warming blanket, and handlebar risers.

Bakcou has been great, always helpful and a pleasure to deal with for parts or any questions. My bike has been a Godsend to me. I cannot imagine living without it. It has its own spot forever in my house right in the living room.

I also use my Bakcou eBike to spend more time with my grandson. We load up the trailer with couch cushions and he gets in and we ride! I have the flag up and lights on the rear of the bike and trailer and of course he is helmeted. We enjoy the scenery and Pronghorn N Arizona, which is beautiful; a postcard scene at every view. Additionally we haul our kayaks to the lake from camp. He enjoys it and I plan to purchase a bike for him when he’s big enough.
